Contest Rules & Regulations

By participating in the ASTP Space Settlement Contest, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:

Eligibility

• Open to Indian citizens and residents aged 16 and above
• Students, professionals, and space enthusiasts are eligible
• Team entries are allowed with maximum 5 members
• ASTP employees and their immediate family members are not eligible

Registration Requirements

• Complete the online registration form with accurate information
• Pay the registration fee before the deadline
• Provide valid contact information for communication
• Agree to receive contest-related communications

Submission Guidelines

• All submissions must be original work
• Plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification
• Submissions must be in specified formats (PDF, DOC, images)
• File size should not exceed 50MB
• Multiple submissions are not allowed

Intellectual Property

• Participants retain copyright of their submissions
• ASTP India reserves the right to showcase entries for promotional purposes
• Winning entries may be published with proper attribution
• Commercial rights remain with the creators

Judging Criteria

• Innovation and creativity (30%)
• Technical feasibility (25%)
• Scientific accuracy (20%)
• Presentation quality (15%)
• Practical implementation potential (10%)

Prizes & Awards

• Cash prizes for top three entries in each category
• Certificates for all participants
• Internship opportunities with partner organizations
• Publication of winning entries
• Prizes are non-transferable and subject to availability

Code of Conduct

• Maintain professional and respectful behavior
• No discrimination based on gender, religion, or background
• Respect intellectual property rights
• Follow all contest deadlines and guidelines

Disqualification

ASTP India reserves the right to disqualify participants who violate contest rules, submit inappropriate content, or engage in unethical behavior.

ASTP India may update these terms and conditions. Participants will be notified of significant changes.
